Career and Professional Development Services for Faculty

Welcome!

Student Services is dedicated to partnering with faculty, and staff to empower students in realizing and reaching their career goals.

Career development is a continuous and life-long process. For most students, the job search will be a process undertaken numerous times. Career Services office seeks to support students in planning and equipping them with the tools they will need now and in the future. Please encourage students to look at career development as a process instead of a single event. Refer them to the online tools provided on the student career service web site.

Services our office provides:

Students may register online, have job postings emailed to them, search the site for program related jobs, work study positions, or part time jobs and upload their resume for employer review. As faculty, you may have program related job openings emailed to you.  Email Us to be registered for this service.

Classroom presentations on resume writing, interviewing, other employment related skills.

Resume Reviews - Students may send their resume to careercenter@blackhawk.edu with resume review in the subject line.
