This class will seek to provide the foundation of knowledge and understanding that an individual needs to function ethically in the role of an insurance or financial services professional. We will also discuss the Ethical vs. Legal decision-making process.

Taxation in the

21st Century

This 3 hour class will help you develop a working understanding of tax issues around insurance and retirement products. We will explore strategies in case studies to allow clients to make informed investing and accumulation decisions.  We will also discuss current approaches that are being considered at the Federal level for a new tax system for the nation. Finally, we will use a video to illustrate how the current tax system affects different income classes in different ways.

This  course  will  cover  topics  from  immediate  annuities  to  variable annuities as well as the many income and death benefit riders associated with variable annuities. Ethical considerations will also be discussed.

Long Term Insurance & the Wisconsin Partnership Program

Well provide a thorough orientation to the need for long-term care and the sources and providers and levels of care available. We will focus on the funding of LTC services from social programs, self-pay options, and long- term care insurance (LTCI). We will examine the new state long-term care partnership programs which encourage consumers to purchase affordable long-term care insurance policies and reduce the burden on state Medicaid programs. The course also explores long-term care insurance policies and their alternatives. Ethical considerations will be discussed in the sale of long-term care insurance products.

Well cover in depth the many different types of life insurance and their application to individuals and their families, term insurance and the many forms of permanent insurance, well explore the many uses of life insurance as well as examples of what types and how much coverage consumers should consider. Well also explain how to compare the costs of life insurance policies.
