Community Education

Monroe Campus provides opportunities for lifelong learning through continuing education.  Short-term classes in a wide variety of areas are available during both the day and evening.

Continuing Education provides an excellent opportunity for updating existing skills, learning new skills, learning a new hobby, or exploring options for beginning a new career.  We offer a variety of learning experiences that will help enrich lives and enhance work quality within our communities, and we also offer courses to help our residents prepare for retirement.

Clay Pottery Class at Monroe CampusOur non-credit, continuing education courses are also referred to as community education courses because we are able to offer these courses with the cooperation of school districts and community organizations throughout our district.  Most of our courses are taught by individuals from our own communities and are offered at BTC campuses and facilities as well as public schools and senior centers.
