2017 Summer Camps

Join us for a week long summer camp designed for students entering grades 7 - 10.  

Exploratory and specialized camps are available!

We are excited to launch summer camp offerings at Blackhawk Technical College and plans are already in place to expand the number of camp offerings in 2018! 

Our customized camps are small, personalized and focused on the students’ interests. There are 12 seats available in each camp.

There is space available in several camps!  Check the Camp Schedule to view up-to-date information about which camps have openings. 

2017 Registration Information: 

  • Registration forms will be accepted by mail or in person at our Central Campus (6004 S County Rd G, Janesville WI).
  • Mailed registration forms should be sent to:

  • No payment will be accepted with the registration form; payment information will be included in the Camp Welcome packet. 
  • Registration forms that are not complete will not be accepted.
  • A Camp Welcome packet will be mailed to the address listed on the registration form(s) with important information about the camp. There will be additional forms in the packet that will need to be returned to our office in order to complete the camp registration process.

Curious about investigating a crime scene?  Want to explore the world of foods? Ever wondered if you have what it takes to be successful in the health field? Come explore some of the hottest careers today in public safety, culinary arts, health sciences, and manufacturing.  These  week-long exploratory camps are designed to provide students with hands-on learning experiences, exposing them to a range of skills and careers to expand their knowledge and understanding of high demand careers. One day a week is devoted to a field trip touring a local business to help students see firsthand what it takes to be a success. Join us for a week of exploration and fun! All exploratory camps will be held at our Central Campus, Janesville. 

Specialized Camps

Manufacturing: Nuts and Bolts  Still Open! Register

July 17 - July 21 (1:00pm - 4:30pm)

Prefer to be up and working with your hands?  Like to tinker?  Ever take gadgets apart and then put them back together?  Students attending the week-long introductory camp to manufacturing learn the various design skills necessary to bring life to new items along with the specialized machinery necessary to create a product.  This week also includes touring several local manufacturing facilities to help students learn more about the types of careers that exist in the area. This camp will be held at our Advanced Manufacturing Training Center, Milton.

Culinary: Bon Appetit!  Filled!

July 24 - July 28 (1:00pm - 4:30pm)

Hooked on TV chef shows? Spend your free time watching the Food Network?  Love to show off in the kitchen? Cooking is more than a necessary life skill--it’s also an opportunity for a career. Join us for an exciting, interactive, week-long course that teaches basic skills in food preparation for various occasions. The best part—you get to eat what you create! This week also includes touring several local businesses to help students learn more about the types of careers that exist in the area. This camp will be held at our Central Campus, Janesville.

Game Design/Coding  Still Open! Register

July 31 - August 4 (1:00pm - 4:30pm)

Why spend your time just playing when you can also create? Video games and interactive media comprise a growing $20 billion industry with a range of jobs in game design, animation, music, programming, marketing, technical support and more. Students can immerse themselves in our week-long camp and experience hands-on learning focused on skill development while exposing them to the range of career opportunities in the field of game design and coding.  This camp will be held at our Advanced Manufacturing Training Center, Milton.
