Janesville PD hires BTC grads

The Janesville Police Department announced recently it has hired two new officers, both with previous experience.

They are officers Bruce J. Danielson and Joseph A. Fox, who started March 20.

Danielson, 44, is from Janesville. He completed the Blackhawk Technical College police academy in 2004, according to a news release.

Danielson most recently worked as a correctional officer at the Rock County Jail and for the Orfordville Police Department as a part-ime patrol officer. He enjoys motorcycles, golf and being on the water.

Fox, 27, also is from Janesville. He graduated from UW-Whitewater in May 2013 with a bachelor's degree in sociology with a criminal justice emphasis.

Fox completed Blackhawk Technical College police academy in November 2013. He most recently worked for the Milton Police Department as a patrol officer.

Fox enjoys spending time with his family and deer hunting, according to the release.
