Course Substitutions

A student may be eligible to substitute a course for the course prescribed in the curriculum if indicated by an evaluation of the course subject matter. Course substitutions are not automatic, and some courses will not be substituted. The substitution can be made only with the approval of the Division Dean of the area offering the course. The approval form is available in the  Advising  Office. In addition, a student may substitute a comparable course from another program to meet degree requirements with the common agreement of the Division Dean.

You should always consult with your Program Advisor before taking a course other than the course required by your program.
