Students may withdraw from a class, or all classes, in a semester by completing the Course Add/Drop Form. It is important to remember that you can not withdraw from a class if less than twenty percent (20%) of the class remains. You cannot withdraw from a class if an academic misconduct issue is pending. If you are withdrawing (or dropping) from all of your courses you need meet with a counselor/advisor before you can be withdrawn.
If you fail to withdraw before the deadline, you will receive a grade for the class(s). Upon officially withdrawing, you will see a grade of "W" on your transcripts. Failing to attend class does not constitute an official withdrawal.
See the Student Handbook for exact dates/deadlines for withdrawal.
