Horticulture/Landscape Technician

As of July 15, 2014 this program is no longer accepting new students.

Attractively designed, healthy and well-maintained lawns, gardens, trees, and shrubbery create a positive first impression, establish a peaceful mood, create spaces for outdoor activities, and increase property values. A growing number of individuals, businesses, and organizations rely on landscape and turf professionals to establish and care for their landscapes. These professionals create designs, establish trees, hedges and flowering plants; build terraces, retaining walls, and patios; and establish and maintain turf grasses for a variety of residential, commercial and athletic uses. The Horticulture/Landscape Technician program is offered in eight-week sessions, on a part-time evening and Saturday basis. Workers already employed, as well as those just beginning in the field, take advantage of the flexible programming.
