Grades and Grade Point Averages (GPA) serve as a measurement of
your success while enrolled in classes at BTC. Grades are
assigned and progress reports are issued at the end of each
semester.
Your GPA is computed by multiplying the point value of each grade
by the credit value designated for each course. The sum of these
figures is divided by the number of credits. An overall 2.0 minimum
GPA is needed to maintain satisfactory academic standing and is
required for graduation.
Grade point averages (GPA) are figured on a 4.0 scale. The point
equivalents are listed above. It is the student’s responsibility to
consult with his/her instructors as to his/her progress.
