Spring 2008 Semester
January 14 - May 20, 2008

(Must complete entire application and it must be received by BTC 30 days prior to
the semester start to be guaranteed admission to the College for the current semester.)

January 4, 2008

• Second installment payment for the Spring 2008 Semester due into Registration by 5:00 p.m.

  (Failure to make the first and/or second payment will cause students to be withdrawn from all credit courses for the fall.)

January 14, 2008

• First day of the Spring 2008 Semester

January 21, 2008

• College closed for Martin Luther King Day

January 21, 2008

• Last day to receive 80% tuition refund for 1st 8-week courses.

January 28, 2008

• Last day to receive 60% tuition refund for 1st 8-week courses.

• Last day to receive 80% tuition refund for full semester courses.

February 2008

February 8, 2008

• Final installment payment for the Spring 2008 Semester due into Registration by 5:00 p.m.

February 11, 2008

• Last day to receive 60% tuition refund for full semester courses.

February 14, 2008

• No daytime courses (evening classes will still meet)

February 25, 2008

• Last day to withdraw from 1st 8-wk courses without receiving a grade.

March 2008

March 13, 2008

• Mid-Term for full semester courses

March 14 - 20, 2008

• Spring Break

March 21, 2008

• College closed for holiday

April 2008

April 1, 2008

• May Graduation Application and Fee Due (Student can submit after this date, but student name will not appear in the Graduation Program if received after this date.)

April 14, 2008

• Last day to withdraw from full semester courses without a grade.

April 15 - April 29, 2008

• Continuing Student Registration for Summer and Fall Semesters (course listing will be available online only, beginning March 31st).  See the Continuing Student Program Schedule for registration dates.

April 23, 2008

• No daytime courses (evening classes will still meet)

May 2008

May 1, 2008

• New Student and Open Registration for Summer and Fall Semesters begins (course listing will be available only on-line beginning April 1st)

• Summer Community Education Courses Course listing will be available on website and registration will be accepted.

May 9, 2008

• For those students who will be May Graduates and received financial aid, Exit Loan Interviews must be completed by this date.

May 16, 2008

• First installment for the Fall 2008 Payment Plan is due to the Registration office. (Failure to make   this payment and/or the second payment will cause a student's withdrawal from all credit courses for the fall semester).

May 17, 2008

• Spring Graduation Ceremony (see Ceremony Schedule)

May 20, 2008

• Last day of Spring 2008 Semester (Grades will be available beginning May 26th.)

Summer 2008 Semester June 9, 2008 - August 1, 2008

(Must complete entire application and it must be received by BTC 30 days prior to
the semester start to be guaranteed admission to the College for the current semester.)

June 16, 2008

• Last day to receive an 80% tuition refund for dropping a course.

June 23, 2008

• Last day to receive a 60% tuition refund for dropping a course.

July 2008

July 1, 2008

• Last day to submit August an Graduation Application and Fee

July 18, 2008

• Second installment for the Fall 2008 Payment Plan is due to the Registration office. (Failure to make this payment and/or the first payment will cause a student's withdrawal from all credit courses for the fall semester.)

• Last day to withdraw from full semester courses without receiving a grade.

Fall 2008 Semester August 25, 2008 - December 18, 2008

(Must complete entire application and it must be received by BTC 30 days prior to

• Labor Day, Campus Closed

September 2, 2008

• Last day to receive an 80% tuition refund for dropping a 1st 8-week course.

September 8, 2008

• Last day to receive an 80% tuition refund for dropping a full semester course.
• Last day to receive a 60% tuition refund for dropping a 1st 8-week course.

September 19, 2008

• Third installment for the Fall 2008 Payment Plan is due to the Registration office

September 22, 2008

• Last day to receive a 60% tuition refund for dropping a full semester course.

October 2008

October 6, 2008

• Last day to withdraw from 1st 8-week courses without receiving a grade.

October 13, 2008

• Mid-Term for full semester courses.

November 2008

• December Graduation Application and Fee Due (Students can submit after this date, but their name will not appear in the Graduation Program if received after this date.)

November 24, 2008      

• Last day to withdraw from full semester courses without receiving a grade.

November 27 - 28, 2008

• Thanksgiving Holiday, Campus Closed

• Last day of school (grades will be available on-line after December 22, 2008)
