Mid-Term Grades

Mid-term grades are issued in an effort to provide students with early feedback about academic progress. Mid-term grades are available after the eighth week of the semester via “Banner Web” link located on the top navigation bar on  www.blackhawk.edu website.  Letter grades of “S” and “U” are issued. An “S” indicates that you are currently performing at a “C” or higher in the course. A “U” indicates that you are currently performing at a “C-” or lower in the course.

If you’ve received a “U” grade for a class you felt you had withdrawn from you should contact the Registration Office immediately.  If this occurs at the point in which the mid-term grades were entered it means that you have not officially withdrawn from the course.
