The Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) is an industry-led training, assessment and certification system focused on the core skills and knowledge needed by the nation’s production workers.  This nationally accepted standard of competencies defines baseline skills needed by 21^st century high-performance manufacturing workers.

The MSSC system awards a “Certified Production Technician (CPT)” credential to individuals who pass all four production modules:

·        Manufacturing Processes & Production

·        Maintenance Awareness
