What is my Student ID number?
Your individual Student ID number appears on your schedule/bill
which you receive when you register for classes. All Student ID
numbers begin with a leading zero or zeroes and are nine-digit
numerical numbers.

What is a PIN number?
A PIN number is a Personal Identification Number that must be used
in conjunction with your Student ID number. You will need both of
these numbers to access your personal data which is located in the
Secured Access area.
What is the difference between Public Access and Secured
Access?
- The Public Access areas on BTC’s web site contain
general information regarding the College and do not require a
Student ID number or PIN to access.
- The Secured Access area requires both your Student ID
number and your PIN. The secured area contains your schedule,
grades, transcript information, financial aid status, address,
etc.
What if I forgot or lost my PIN?
Send a request to
bcisewsk@blackhawk.edu to reactivate your PIN. We encourage you
to store your PIN someplace safe where you will always have access
to it. If you forget or lose your PIN,
it will take 48 hours to reactivate.

What if I forgot or lost my Student ID number?
Send a request to
bcisewsk@blackhawk.edu to request your Student ID number.
When requesting your Student ID number, we will need to have your:
- Name
- Address
- Date of Birth
- Social Security Number
- Email Address
We will respond to your request within 48 hours.
Your Student ID number will be sent to you via your email address.
How do I get a copy of my schedule?
- Enter the Secured Access area
- Go to the Student & Financial Aid menu
- Choose Registration menu.
- Choose either Student Detail Schedule or Student
Schedule by Day & Time.
- Select the appropriate term from the drop-down menu and
submit your request.
How do I get a copy of my unofficial transcripts?
- Enter the Secured Access area,
- Go to the Student & Financial Aid menu,
- Choose Student Records Information menu,
- Choose Academic Transcript.
How do I get a copy of my grade reports?
- Enter the Secured Access area,
- Go to the Student & Financial Aid menu
- Choose Student Records Information menu,
- Choose Display Grades.
What if I want to check on my Financial Aid status?
- Enter the Secured Access area,
- go to the Student & Financial Aid menu
- Choose Financial Aid Information menu.
You will then be able to:
- Check your overall status of Financial Aid
- Check your cost of attendance
- Display your Financial Aid Award information
- Send a Email message to the BTC Financial Aid Office
Helpful Hints:
You will only be allowed three (3) attempts to
log-in. If you are unsuccessful after three attempts, you will be
locked out of the system. In order to gain access you will need to
send an email request to
bcisewsk@blackhawk.edu to reactivate your PIN. Your account will
be reactivated within 48 hours.
