Library Instruction/Information Literacy

What we offer:

Library research instruction sessions cover information retrieval skills and strategies for writing reports and papers, as well as skills to help students manage an increasingly complex world of information. Before the session, librarians consult with the faculty member about the objectives of the session. Sessions can be one class period, part of one period, or spread out over several periods.

Library instruction sessions for program classes cover specific reference tools for those fields and basic library procedures.

For more information about the BTC Library instruction program or to schedule a session, please contact Janet White, Librarian at 608.757.7705.
