Blackhawk Technical College's Department of Continuing and Community Education is committed to meeting the varied needs of our residents.
Continuing education provides an excellent opportunity for updating existing skills, learning new skills, learning a new hobby, or exploring options for beginning a new career. We offer a variety of learning experiences that will help enrich lives and enhance work quality within our communities, and we also offer courses to help our residents prepare for retirement.
Our non-credit, continuing education courses are also referred to as community education courses because we are able to offer these courses with the cooperation of school districts and community organizations throughout our district. Most of our courses are taught by individuals from our own communities and are offered at BTC campuses and facilities as well as public schools and senior centers.
Our courses present a unique opportunity for you to update your skills, learn a new skill, or explore a potential hobby at an affordable rate. Seniors age 62 and over can also attend many of our classes for a nominal material fee (sometimes as low as $4). For our most current listing of available courses, visit our online non-credit course search feature, view our current courses by using the link on the left side of this page, or contact us to have a copy of our course schedule mailed to you.
