All incoming students are required to complete a pre-entry assessment during the admission process. The LRC provides COMPASS testing, which assesses students’ skills in reading, writing, and mathematics. There is a $10 fee for all three sections of the test or a $4 fee for each section of the test.
Depending on your program choice, other assessments may be required as part of the admissions process. The LRC offers the following:
Typing test using MicroPace Pro software. There is no cost for this assessment.
SP2 (Safety and Pollution Prevention) is required for admission into some programs at BTC. There is no cost for this assessment.
