Monroe Campus - Academic Programs
Associate
Degrees (2 year programs)
The Associate Degree
provides excellent preparation for students planning immediate job entry at
the end of two years. BTC offers programs in business, industrial, and
service fields. Associate degree programs require successful
completion of a minimum of 64 credit hours (see the college catalog for
specific course requirements) consisting of technical and general education
courses. The following associate degrees can be completed entirely at
the Monroe Campus. Consult a BTC catalog for a complete list of all
associate degrees offered.

In addition, students may take courses required for many
programs at the Monroe Campus prior to traveling to the Central Campus in
Janesville, WI NOTE: Though the Associate Degree is not
generally intended for transfer to the four-year college or university,
a number of universities accept the entire degree in transfer. See
your counselor for additional information.
Certificates (Short Term Programs)
Certificates are a collection of
courses which are essential to prepare students for successful employment in
specific occupations. Many certificates can be completed in one year.
