COUNSELING
Counseling is available at the Monroe Campus to provide:

Academic Counseling: program information, assistance in selecting courses and creating an academic plan.

Career Counseling: career exploration resources and assistance with job search strategies.

Personal Counseling: assistance in overcoming personal barriers that stand in the way of your educational goals.

WRITING AND MATH LABS Instructors can assist students with writing assignments and basic math and algebra. Contact the ASD division at 608-329-8204 for scheduled learning lab hours.
SERVICES FOR STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES BTC assists students with disabilities by providing accommodations when requested. STUDENT STUDY SKILLS Becoming a Master Student is a course that helps students develop the skills necessary to be successful in college. Topics covered include study skills, note taking, time management, and community resources.
BOOKSTORE Monroe Campus does not have its own bookstore. However, prior to the beginning of each semester the bookstore staff from central campus delivers all pre-ordered textbooks for classes taught at the Monroe Campus. For more information, visit the bookstore website at www.btc.bkstr.com
FINANCIAL AID Students interested in applying for federal and state grants, work-study (jobs on campus) and loans, should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) available at the Monroe Campus. Though a hard copy application is available, students are encouraged to complete the form online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Appropriate federal income tax returns will be necessary in order to complete the application. Questions regarding financial aid should be directed to the Financial Aid Office located at the Central Campus (Janesville) at 1-800-498-1282 ext. 7664.
