Blackhawk Technical College’s Culinary Team Takes First

BTC’s culinary team consisted of Leon Singleton, Victor Garcia, Matthew Harvey, and Henry Pariser, led by BTC’s Culinary Instructor, Joe Wollinger.

Blackhawk Technical College’s award-winning culinary team placed first in the Reinhart Food Show held on April 1 in Milwaukee. The team was awarded a trophy and $500. During the Iron Chef Competition in the Hot Foods Category, students prepared food competing with other culinary schools. At the last second the secret ingredient, whole grouper, was introduced. BTC’s culinary team consisted of Leon Singleton, Victor Garcia, Matthew Harvey, and Henry Pariser, led by BTC’s Culinary Instructor, Joe Wollinger.
