Offered as a 16-credit certificate program, BTC’s Customer Service program includes occupational skills needed to be successful in the world of serving customers’ needs. Business skills, people skills, technology, personal effectiveness and many other related skills will be covered to help you establish a solid customer service foundation for any career.

 

Among the various topics you’ll specifically cover will be areas such as the service professions, customer retention, business skills and software, interpersonal assessments, communication, and a field study.

 

For those desiring to enter the occupation of Customer Service Representative, as of 2004 the median annual wage nationally was $27,200, while in Wisconsin it was $27,600.

The projections call for an increase in job openings nationally through 2014 of 23 percent, while in Wisconsin through 2012 it is projected to increase 21 percent.
