Early Childhood Associate Degree graduates will meet the state educational requirements to be a Child Care Teacher in a licensed group early childhood center for children ages 2 weeks to 10 years old.

During the school year, students are placed in early childhood centers throughout Rock and Green Counties. Students have the opportunity to work with children as young as 6 weeks of age through age 12.
Students receive their training in a variety of early childhood centers:
While in these centers, students plan developmentally appropriate activities for the children under the supervision of experienced professionals. This on-site educational experience allows students to develop their child care skills, and enables them to make informed choices regarding career options.
Credit for classes can be given for specific high school courses, and work experience.
