WMTV-TV Reporter Honored for her Coverage of BTC

Hannah Flood, a reporter with WMTV-TV received the 2018 Media Award for her coverage of Blackhawk Technical College’s specialized training programs. The award was presented to Hannah at the recent quarterly meeting of the Wisconsin Technical College System District Board Association meeting. BTC nominated Hannah and WMTV-TV for the award. The story focused on the workforce gaps employers are facing and how BTC and other technical colleges play a vital role in filling those gaps with graduates.
