How to Apply

Apply for admission to get started on your associate degree, technical diploma, or certificate program. If you have additional questions, please contact us at (608) 757-7710 or admissions@blackhawk.edu.

Complete the online application

Whether you're a graduating high school student, adult learner, or transfer student – the application process is free and completely online. Access application

Check your email

Once you’re accepted, you will complete the Advising, Registration, and Onboarding (ARO) process, which will allow you to register for classes and prepare you for the first day of the semester.

Submit Your Transcripts

Please have your high school or college send your official transcripts via a verified third-party vendor, such as Parchment, to Blackhawk. You may also have them mailed.

University Transfer

Earning a bachelor’s degree has never been more convenient and affordable! We offer a variety of options for students who want to achieve a four-year degree.

Financial Aid Workshop

Blackhawk's financial aid team holds weekly financial aid workshops at the Beloit-Janesville Campus in Janesville. Students, prospective students, and community members are welcome to stop by to learn about: General financial aid information. Help with completing your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Guidance on what you need to do next. Help with understanding your financial aid. Stop by the Welcome Center on your way in and ask for the specific location of the workshop.
