Hiring Process FAQs

Learn more about our hiring process:

The online system will list the status of all positions.

You must complete the entire application and provide all requested information, including all employers (past and present), telephone numbers, dates of employment, reasons for leaving, salary information, and complete addresses.

When a job posting indicates that there is a closing date, it means that Human Resources has set a final deadline for applications. Applications received after the deadline are not processed.

You must submit a separate application for each position. Our online application process allows you to retrieve and submit your application for multiple jobs.

Candidates are encouraged to submit their application to a specific opening. This will allow your credentials and qualifications to be reviewed and considered for an opening.

However, if no specific position matches your career interests, please click on the "connect with us" link on our job postings search page. You will be able to upload your resume and receive communications on future posted positions.

Temporary/part-time positions may be applied for by submitting an online application.

Each academic and occupational instructor shall meet applicable requirements established by the Higher Learning Commission and federal and state licensing requirements.

Each occupational instructor shall have a minimum of two years (4,000 hours) of occupational experience in a target job for the program or programs being taught, of which at least one year (2,000 hours) shall be within five years prior to the date of appointment. One year (2,000 hours) of related occupational experience may be waived if the occupational instructor has at least two years of post−secondary teaching experience in the appropriate occupational field within 5 years prior to the date of appointment.

Résumés are submitted as part of the application process. A résumé will start your application process and can help to prepopulate information into your application for employment.

If you don’t see a position that interests you, please click on the "connect with us" link on the job postings search page. After uploading your résumé, we can send you job postings that will match your career aspirations when the positions formally post.
