Preventive dental care is now available to community members at a reduced cost. Services offered include dental cleanings, x-rays, fluoride treatments and a range of other dental hygiene treatments.
Students in our Dental Hygienist program perform these services under the guidance of Dental Hygienist program staff and a supervising licensed dentist.
Treatments take place in our Dental Clinic at Blackhawk’s Beloit-Janesville Campus, 6004 S. County Road G, Janesville, in Room 2314.
Clinic Hours
8 a.m.-5 p.m. Mondays & Wednesdays
Closed for spring, summer and winter breaks.
To schedule an appointment, call (608) 743-4402 or email dental@blackhawk.edu. Due to the instructional nature of our facility, appointment times are 2-3 hours in length, and multiple appointments may be required to complete treatment. Please plan accordingly.
A flat fee for patient care will be charged per the schedule below. This fee includes services that are completed by a second-year student as part of one full-mouth hygiene treatment. Preventive and diagnostic services will be planned according to each individual patient's need.
First-year students see patients at no charge. Appointments are very limited, but occasionally there may be openings in April or May. For more information, please call or email the dental clinic.
