Blackhawk Technical College’s chapter of Business Professionals of America (BPA) attended the BPA State Leadership Conference Feb. 26-27 at Northcentral Technical College in Wausau. A dozen students went, and all returned successful after competing in the annual state competitions.

All these students qualified for the National Leadership Conference that will be held in Nashville May 6-10. Another student, Braunson Dietzman, also qualified in the Prepared Speech competition.
Two of the state officers who helped organize and deliver the conference were from Blackhawk’s chapter: State President Marcus Evans and State Marketing Officer Deven Deegan. In addition to the competition, the conference included a speaker, social event and workshops.
