Our Business Professionals of America (BPA) chapter attended the BPA National Leadership Conference in Orlando from May 7-11. Eight students qualified to attend the event by placing third or higher in business competitions at the state level. Our students turned in an impressive performance with the following highlights:

• Sierra Empereur earned 1st place in the Fundamental Spreadsheet Applications event
• Cheyenne Spade and Deven Deegan earned 2nd place in Video Production Team
• Marcus Evans earned 3rd place in Digital Marketing Concepts
• Leslie Mata Boehme earned 3rd place in Intermediate Word Processing

Other students earning top 10 finishes included: Marcus Evans in Advanced Interview Skills; Aidan Cain, Michael Valdivia, and Leslie Mata Boehme in Small Business Management Team; and Lexi Schmidt in Business Law & Ethics.
