Drop-in and use our flexible learning space that features quiet study rooms, computers, bring your own device workstation, printer, scanner, copy machine, and a variety of other services. Access and Accommodations

BTC provides accommodations and support to students with documented disabilities, students seeking title IX pregnancy / parenting accommodations, students with temporary non-chronic impairments, and guests participating in BTC sponsored activities at our facilities.

ELL and Even Start

English Language Learning (ELL) classes and labs are for students who wish to develop more proficient English skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

GED and HSED Education

The GED and HSED are computer-based high school equivalency tests that measure skills expected of high school graduates. The General Educational Development (GED) certificate is accepted by most employers, technical colleges, and community colleges.

Rock County Education and Criminal Addictions Program

The Rock County Education and Criminal Addictions Program (RECAP) is a cooperative program among Blackhawk Technical College, Rock County Sheriff's Office, and CESA #2. The program provides Adult Basic Education (ABE) and GED/HSED instruction, Cognitive Interventions Program (CGIP), drug and alcohol counseling, job readiness, and work experience.
