The BTC Student Cupboard provides supplemental food and other necessities for current students and their families who are in need. Our vision is to ensure no BTC student goes hungry because of a lack of income or access to food.
Now we have three options on how to shop! Students can shop in-person during open hours, schedule an appointment to shop off-hours, or request a no-contact pick-up.
Current students can shop the BTC Student Cupboard in person during our open hours (listed below). All you need to bring is your student ID.
To schedule an appointment for in-person shopping, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. In your email, list a few days/times that work for you to shop in-person. Within 1-3 business days, a member of the Student Cupboard will reply to your email with the day/time of your in-person shopping appointment.
Note: If you are more than 10 minutes late to your scheduled appointment, you will need to reschedule.
Email email@example.com to request a no-contact pick-up. In the email, please detail: the number of children (age 0-17), adults (age 18-64), and seniors (age 65+) in your household and any particular items you need/want included.
Within 1-3 business days, a member of the Student Cupboard will reply to your email and let you know when your items are ready for pick-up. Once available, you can pick-up your order at Central Campus during regular business hours.
The BTC Student Cupboard is always in need of donations. Items can be dropped off at the donation bin by the Welcome Center (Central Campus).
The lists below show examples of food and non-food items that may be donated to the BTC Student Cupboard. Items that are in high demand have been marked with an asterisk (*).
Faculty, staff, and students can volunteer at the BTC Student Cupboard. To volunteer, please complete the Volunteer Application. A member of the Friends of the Cupboard will follow-up with necessary training.
