Public Safety + Transportation Complex

Designed for immersive, hands-on learning, our 75,000-square-foot Public Safety Center includes a shooting range, fire and EMS apparatus bay, specialized labs and classrooms, a MILO simulation room, the DAAT Training Center, and the JP Cullen Fitness Center and Walking Track.

Career Pathways are structured to guide you in achieving your education goals while exploring different career opportunities. Each pathway include related certificates, diplomas, and degrees that build on shared skills and knowledge. You can enter at a level that fits your experience and personalize your path to align with your goals. Explore the pathway that matches your interests.

There are many opportunities, including high school where students can get a head start on a college degree, or through previous college, work, and/or military experience, to earn credit for prior learning at Blackhawk.

Certificates include a streamlined set of courses in a specific program area, providing a set of industry-recognized skills preparing students for entry-level employment.

Associate degrees are typically completed in two years by full-time students and combine hands-on technical skills with general education.

Prepare to enter your exciting new career, or choose to continue your education with another Blackhawk program or by transferring your credits to a four-year college or university.
