Smart Start

Smart Start Days are designed for students to take care of last-minute needs before the start of the semester. Many services will be available, including financial aid, advising, bookstore, placement testing, laptop checkouts, IT helpdesk, student IDs, and campus tours.

Smart Start Dates:

  • 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11
  • 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, Aug. 12-14
  • 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15
  • 8 a.m.-noon Saturday, Aug. 16

Fall Semester Starts Aug. 18!

Drop by our Beloit-Janesville Campus during our Smart Start Week, where you can:

  • Review your schedule
  • Complete testing (sign up by calling (608) 757-7666)
  • Receive Blackboard assistance
  • Receive financial aid assistance
  • Learn about campus resources
  • Get your books & student ID
  • Tour campus
  • Borrow a laptop at the library help desk
  • School supply pick-up available in SSC #2200

New Student Program Orientation

If you are a new Blackhawk student, do not forget to attend a Mandatory Program Orientation on Monday, Aug. 11, or Tuesday, Aug. 12.
