At BTC you’ll find plenty of opportunities to get involved, get inspired and have fun outside the classroom. We want all of our students to explore off-campus opportunities, meet new friends and try something new. We have dozens of clubs and organizations for you to choose from and we host a healthy schedule of events year-round. See how you can get involved by visiting our Student Organizations page.

BTC was one of the first technical colleges in Wisconsin to formally have a student representative as part of its Board of Trustees. Elected by the Student Government Association, the student representative serves in a non-voting position and acts as the liaison between the Board and the student body. The term of office is one year with elections held annually in the spring.
Annually, the college hosts a student awards celebration in April to recognize individuals and groups who have provided service, leadership, earned academic achievement, participated in a student organization or contributed to the community.

In fact, during the spring and summer semesters, the sand-pit volleyball, located in the back of the Central Campus is used daily. We also have a full service fitness center available to students and the general public. Interested in something different? Periodically, yoga classes are offered for people looking for low impact exercise options.
