Blackhawk hosted its annual employee recognition event on Wednesday, May 26. The event honors the achievements and years of service for its regular full- and part-time employees. Please join us in celebrating the great work of all of our employees during this incredibly abnormal year.

Retirement
Cathy Hopkins retires from Blackhawk Technical College after 21 years of instruction. She began in January 2000 as a Workplace Education Instructor at General Motors. In 2008, she transitioned to the role of Adult Basic Education Instructor at the Monroe Campus and six years later was teaching Basic Skills in Beloit. Through her years, Cathy has provided treasured encouragement to her students, pushing them to succeed when they wanted to give up.
