The Culinary Production Line Cook Technical Diploma gives students the hands-on skills and technical and professional knowledge they need to start a career in the culinary industry within restaurants, catering services, hotels, healthcare facilities and schools. Students are prepared for careers such as Line Cooks, Prep Cooks, Broiler Chefs through in class and practical, on-the-job experiences within the local food industry.
A shining star among BTC’s many academic offerings, the college’s Culinary Arts program has earned multiple awards including the Wisconsin Board of Vocational Technical and Adult Education with the Exemplary Education Service Award. The Culinary Arts program is also accredited and recognized as an Exemplary Program by the American Culinary Federation.
