Law Enforcement Basic Recruit Academy

• Be at least 18 years of age and a United States citizen (required for employment)
• Possess a valid Wisconsin driver’s license or other such valid operator’s permit recognized by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation
• Possess a general educational development diploma or be a high school graduate
• Have earned at least 60 accredited college credits
• No unpardoned felony conviction
• No misdemeanor crime of domestic violence convictions
• Complete the Academy Application Packet and additional requirements

• Spring 2021: January 18, 2021 – May 21, 2021
• Fall 2021: August 9, 2021 – December 10, 2021

Pre-service applicants must complete and submit the Academy Application Packet by the deadline for consideration. The Fall 2021 Academy Application Packet is due Monday, June 28.
