What You’ll Learn

“Agriculture is our wisest pursuit, because it will, in the end, contribute most to real wealth, good morals, and happiness.” - Thomas Jefferson

BTC’s Agribusiness Specialist program, the only one of its kind in Wisconsin, is a flexible, one year program specializing in the specifics of the agriculture business. You’ll be immersed in associate degree level classes that emphasize career leadership, agribusiness management and safe and sustainable production. And you’ll gain the skills you need to work in a variety of areas in the agribusiness industry such as production, service and supply, marketing and sales, research and agricultural tourism. During the program or once you complete it, you may decide to transfer into our Agribusiness Science and Technology associate’s degree program. You can also plan classes around your schedule, making it flexible and easy to complete. In one year, you’ll have an Agribusiness Specialist technical diploma, two certifications, the CDL and Commercial Applicator, and be ready to succeed in an agribusiness career.
