About 80 high school students were recognized today at Blackhawk’s Letter of Intent Signing Day.

Justin Nitka, a Blackhawk Welding student, received a silver medal on Wednesday for his second-place finish in the Technical College division for Welding at the 50^th Annual SkillsUSA Wisconsin State Leadership and Skills Conference.

More than 200 people attended Blackhawk Technical College’s 2^nd Annual Golden Brick Awards on Wednesday afternoon.

The ability to use alternative forms of learning, whether face-to-face, online or a combination of both, is what drew Drexel Norman to Blackhawk, and the training offered in the Electric Power Distribution (EPD) program is what will give him the opportunity to make a living in the career he desired.
